The North Lakeland Education Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

The North Lakeland Education Foundation supports and enhances quality education including securing and awarding funds for innovative and creative programs in the North Lakeland School district.

Our Foundation helps develop responsible citizens through innovative educational experiences based on a deep community commitment to our youth.

We Believe...

North Lakeland School has always served as a cornerstone of our North Woods community. The future vitality and economy of the local townships depend on its success. Ensuring excellence in education for the students of our school is a priority our community cannot afford to postpone.

Meetings

Meetings are generally held the 2nd Monday of each month, 5:00 p.m., September through June, at North Lakeland School.

Scholarships

The Bill Sherer Memorial Leadership Scholarship is available for current 5th, 6th and 7th grade North Lakeland students to apply for financial assistance to participate in a leadership-based program.   Applications are accepted between Sept. 1 and March 1 of each school year.

Grants

North Lakeland staff, students, volunteers and citizen/community organizations are welcome to apply for a North Lakeland Education Foundation grant. Applications are accepted September 1 through May 1 of the current school year.
