The 2026-27 school-start open house will be held Wednesday, August 26, 4:00-7:00 p.m., at North Lakeland School. 

• Kindergarten through 8th grade students = Tuesday, September 1
• 4K students = Thursday, September 3 (4K students and their parent/s will have Individualized meetings with Mrs. Nelson, 4K teacher, Sept. 1 and Sept. 2)
• NO SCHOOL FRI., SEPT. 4, OR MON., SEPT. 7

North Lakeland's school day runs 7:55 a.m. to 3:26 p.m.  The school's main entrance opens for student entry at 7:55 a.m.  

School-start information packets will be mailed the week of August 10 to all student-enrolled families.  The required online student registration form will be emailed to parents/guardians the week of August 10 and must be completed by the first day of school.

We are again excited to announce that North Lakeland will be purchasing nearly all school supplies for every student for the 2026-2027 school year thanks to the efforts of the Manitowish Waters Women’s Service League’s School Supply Drive and the support of our local communities!  What this means for parents is that there are only a few items that students need to bring for the start of school:

The fitness room at North Lakeland School is OPEN: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 - 10:00 a.m.  through Thursday, August 27, 2026.

CLOSED: Aug. 28 - Sept. 7 (fitness room hours during the 2026-27 school year TBD)
