Welcome to North Lakeland School District's new website!  This page is to help you get acquainted with the new site and introduce you to elements that are intended to help you get around and find the information you are looking for. We recommend taking the time to read this full page to understand our new site.

Utility Links

Located in the upper right of the site, the utility links are easy to access links for our return visitors.  When you hover over an icon, a short description of the link will appear. This includes:

Main Menu

Home Page

On the home page of our site, you will find the primary navigation at the bottom of the page. Once you scroll, it will move to the top.

Interior Pages

On any other page, you will find the primary navigation method at the top of the page.  The main menu includes the main navigation categories.  When accessing each navigation category, a drop-down menu will appear with additional primary links for that category.

Inside Menu

On the left side of many pages within our new site, you will find the inside navigation. This navigation shows all of the pages within that category.  There are up to three levels of pages.  Once you select a level 1 page, its level 2 pages will show. Once you select a level 2 page, its level 3 pages will show.

Mobile Menu

Our new site is fully responsive, which means it will adjust to any device that you are viewing it on. On mobile devices, all of the site menus including the main and inside menu will collapse into one mobile menu. The mobile menu is indicated by a button with three horizontal lines alongside the text "Menu."

Once the button has been selected, the full menu will open. You will be able to expand and collapse the full menu by using the arrows on the right side of the menu.

Please note: On mobile devices, your utility icons will initially appear at the bottom of the page AND in the menu.

Entrance Section

This first section features stories and images from our school district. These may not change often, but they will highlight what's important to our school.

What's Happening at NLS

The next section focuses on the top priority announcements for our school as well as a social media post from Facebook and Twitter.

In addition, a featured announcement may appear on the left.  This announcement will change depending on the need or season for our school.

Upcoming Events

After the announcements, you will find the upcoming events . Our page will show up to 5 days of events with up to 3 events each day.  If one day has more than 3 events, a view more arrow will appear which allows you to show more events on this page for that day.

Entrance Paths & Stats

These sections are mainly for community members or prospective families checking out our district. Check-in every once in a while to see updated pictures and stats for our school!
