]]>North Lakeland School will soon be offering our 4K ~ 2 grade students an opportunity to participate in the After School Snacks & Crafts class, as a Lighted Schoolhouse after school programming option. Join Vicky Mumford, as she will teach students how to prepare an after-school snack and create a fun craft! This class will give students a chance to explore simple snack preparation along with a similar themed project to create; all while enjoying their snack and creation with friends! Some examples include: fruit pizzas, mini pizzas, celery snails, lunchables, dirt cakes, fruit skewers, animal snacks, and monster cookies. Don't forget to bring your creativity and fun energy! Vigilance of students' projected absences, and other obligations on these course date(s) helps ensure roster spot fairness to every student, and is appreciated. ]]>North Lakeland School will soon be offering our 2 ~ 8 grade students an opportunity to participate in Spring Trail Biking, as a Lighted Schoolhouse after school programming option. We are fortunate to have some of the most well kept and scenic biking trails in the Northwoods ~ right in our backyard! Students will work on fundamentals, hopefully see some wildlife, build relationships, and enjoy some good old fashioned exercise as Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Ullrich, and Mrs. Driscoll will be facilitating this course on the Manitowish Waters trail system. Participants must have basic biking skills with endurance up to 5 miles. North Lakeland will provide bikes and helmets. Please notify me if you have a certain personal bike and helmet that you want your child to use.
